Though born and raised in Statesville, NC, I have been living in Charleston since 1976. I graduated from The Citadel in 1980 with a BS in Civil Engineering and began work with a local engineering firm.  After approximately two years with that firm, I joined up with another local engineer to begin a successful engineering firm. While part owner with that firm, I obtained my SC and GA license to practice land surveying.  I have been registered in SC for 25 years and GA for 16 years.  After over 17 years with the engineering firm, I decided to begin working strictly in the surveying field.  I have completed approximately 5,000 residential closing surveys since 1999. In 2006, I formed Atlantic Surveying with what I feel is the most professional and personable staff anywhere in the state.  In attempt to keep current with the ever improving technology, we are constantly taking courses involved with FEMA, GPS, GIS, etc.
